The TMGMA Executive of the Year Award recognizes a current medical practice administrator affiliated with the Tennessee Medical Group Management Association who has exhibited:

• A noteworthy achievement of medical practice management proficiency or successfully overcome specific monumental challenges during the year.
• Supports and gives back to local, state, and national MGMA.
• Demonstrates enhancement of strategic and operational effectiveness of health care delivery in his/her practice and community.
• Possesses qualities of exceptional leadership.
• Commitment to the profession displayed (above and beyond job description such as local, state, and national leadership).
